Basaiah Hiremath

FOUNDER

Basaiah Hiremath, founder of Nandi Organic Farm House (NOFH), leverages decades of IT expertise, yet it was witnessing malnutrition and pesticide-ridden fields in his Koppal hometown that catalyzed his shift to organic farming. Motivated by a vision to combat malnutrition sustainably, Basaiah extensively researched solutions, ultimately selecting moringa for its nutritional richness and environmental resilience.

Under his leadership, NOFH has garnered multiple awards and recognition for its commitment to organic farming and moringa cultivation. Through a strategic partnership with the Government of Karnataka, Basaiah successfully implemented malnutrition eradication programs in Koppal, Bagalkot and Raichur. This initiative led to significant improvements in children’s weight, HbA levels, and overall health, showcasing moringa’s transformative impact.

Basaiah’s relentless dedication continues to drive NOFH’s mission to provide high-quality moringa products while promoting sustainable agriculture practices. His achievements underscore NOFH’s role in fostering community health and environmental stewardship, setting a standard for organic farming initiatives nationwide.
